Emergency Eye Care

  • Emergency Eye Care is recommended for anyone experiencing:
  • Sudden changes to vision, painful, or non-painful
  • Loss of vision in one or both eyes
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Sudden fixed or non-reactive pupil
  • Double vision
  • Flashes of light, or new ‘floaters’, in one or both eyes
  • A ‘Curtain’ or ‘Veil’ encroaching on one’s vision
  • Red irritated / painful eye with or without mucous discharge
  • Changes to colour vision, or brightness
  • Any foreign body, or injury to the eye (projectile, or blunt trauma)

If it is after hours please go to the closest emergency room.
